Erbium Oxide (Er2O3)

Description

Application of Erbium oxide:

• Used as a colourant in glasses and porcelain enamel glazes. High purity Erbium Oxide is widely applied as a dopant in making optical fiber and amplifier.
• Used as gate dielectrics in semiconductor devices due to its high dielectric constant and large bandgap.
• Erbium Oxide nanoparticles on carbon nanotubes are used in biomedical applications due to their photoluminescent properties.
